The origin story

Tustra was founded after we noticed the same problem repeating across industries. Businesses were being sold AI tools they hadn't asked for, pushed by CRM companies and software vendors capitalising on a moment of uncertainty. Business owners knew AI mattered. They just had no clarity on where to start, what to listen to, and what to stay well clear of. We built Tustra to fix that.

Who we are

Thomas and Samson Turner-Strang are brothers who founded Tustra after noticing the same problem repeating across industries. Thomas spent his career as a geomatics surveyor in London, working with spatial data and operational systems in the field. Samson came from retail operations and client referrals management in Whistler, Canada. Between us we bring operational rigour and client-facing experience - we understand how businesses actually run, not just how they look on a diagram.

How we operate

We've been operating for just over a year, working with clients across real estate, professional services, and field operations. Every engagement starts with an audit. We tell clients honestly what AI is worth doing in their business, what order to do it in, and what to avoid. We build when it makes sense, and we connect clients with trusted specialist partners when a specific job calls for someone else.

Credentials and affiliations

We are members of UKAI, the UK trade association for AI adoption, and part of their Real Estate Working Group -where industry experts discuss AI security, sovereignty, adoption, and trust to advise the wider market. Thomas holds a Google certification in AI fundamentals. We are ICO registered and fully GDPR compliant.
